The Nebraska weather has been crazy! March is going to be here soon and St. Patrick’s Day is great way to get outside and enjoy the weather.
We are bringing you the Shamrock Run to start your day off running (I couldn’t resist the pun) and jump start your St. Patrick’s Day. Bring your green and orange and everything fun!
This is a family friendly event for participants of all ages and skill levels. The course will be along the Keystone Trail next to the Little Papillion Creek, one of the flattest areas of Omaha. The post-race activities will take place at Backlot Taphouse, 2110 S. 67th Street, Suite 108 with lots of giveaways from the surrounding merchants.
Aksarben Village – A hub of excitement on the weekends with many local restaurants, bars, outdoor festivals, music and more … St. Patrick’s Weekend is no different!
Run Course – Keystone Trail – The Shamrock Run will start and end on the Keystone Trail near Mercy Road. Athletes will head South on the trail to the turnaround and head back to the Finish Line.
Giveaways – You don’t have to be fast or dress up or anything. Just sign up!
Runners and walkers can choose to be Timed or Untimed.

Registration Fees
Runners and walkers can choose to be Timed or Untimed. Everyone will receive a t-shirt, pair of socks or beanie. We are limited to 100 t-shirts…so the first ones to register gets the first choice! So register early to get the shirt!
UNTIMED 5K
Today to March 16th – $35 – T-shirt or Beanie
March 5th to Race Day – $40 – Race Day (T-Shirt or Beanie – We have limited shirts. First come, first served.)
TIMED 5K
Today to March 5th – $40 –T-Shirt or Beanie
March 5th to Race Day – $50 – Race Day (T-Shirt or Beanie – We have limited shirts. First come, first served. )
UNTIMED KIDS (Ages 12 to 18) $6 – Race Day (Beanie. First come, first served. )
All participants are eligible for giveaways and prizes. You must be present to win.
We have a no Refund Policy because there is a considerable amount effort goes into producing such an event and funds are expended early on in the event process. Thank you for understanding this policy.

Race Day Schedule
Backlot Taphouse, 2110 S. 67th Street, Suite 108 will be the check-in point for all race updates and activities.
8:00 – 8:45 AM Packet Pickup
Pick up your race schwag
Race Day Registration available – Please bring cash or check.
8:55 AM – Race Briefing
There will be a quick race briefing on the Keystone Trail to answer any last-minute questions
9:00 AM – Race Starts
The run starts and ends on the Keystone Trail. The runners will start first, followed by the walkers.
10:00 AM – Post Event Activities
Once you finish the race head back to Backlot Taphouse, 2110 S. 67th Street, Suite 108 and start your recovery.
